Participative Change Cycle
I modified Paul Hersey’s and Ken Blanchard’s “Participative Change Cycle” diagram from their book, Management of Organizational Behaviour, by adding the Decision Making step. This Decision Making process is where a person learns to Gather, Organize and Evaluate information before exhibiting a Safety Behaviour. At PASS, we believe in providing training (knowledge transfer) in order to emphasize the importance of Safety Attitudes and how these attitudes underpin the Decision Making process regarding Safety Behaviours and/or activities. Even more important, is creating the Attitude of Continuous Improvement in Safety, whether at Work, Home or in the Community.
